January 2014, my daughter Rachel became ill. After many doctors and tests, we found that she was gluten and dairy intolerant. Although I was happy that we finally had a diagnosis, I was very overwhelmed and enrolled in an integrative nutrition school and became a certified health coach to help other families deal with food sensitivities and allergies.
Starting this non profit food pantry is our way of giving back to our community. Turning our mess into our message. It is named after Rachel because she is my hero, never cheating on her diet or complaining about the foods she can no longer enjoy.
